Grab a fork and get ready! Welcome to the epitome of Greek food - the Greek meze table. Join our meze class for an evening of laughter, ouzo, and most of all, plate after plate of delectable Greek food.
Mezes (mezedes for plural) means a small plate of hot or cold food that is served alongside other mezedes. Mezedes have a dual purpose. Firstly, to complement the drink (and by drink, we mean Greek spirits like ouzo, raki, or tsipouro). Secondly, to provide a reason for social gathering.
At our mezedes cooking class, you will learn how to cook at least 7 Greek mezedes while you admire a perfect view of the Acropolis. This class is totally hands-on. You will be given the recipes in writing so you can take notes during the class. With our directions, you will learn how to cook traditional Greek recipes so you will be able to recreate the whole menu when you are back home. After the class, we will all devour the mezedes around our big table with good Greek wine and traditional spirits.
