Over the past 40 years, we have been able to guarantee the success of our restaurant before beginning the home cooking program. At Baan Nate, we keep our kitchen in a way that is suitable to cook Thai menus. We have an open kitchen style which is a common concept in houses and restaurants in Thailand. The purpose of this cooking class is for those who want to create Thai dishes that you can simply prepare and enjoy with as few ingredients as possible. 

In this class, you will learn about Thai spices and be able to adjust the recipe depending on the different kinds of ingredients you can easily find at home. The program will be held in the shaded area in front of our house. Together, we will learn how to make our favorite dishes from scratch, including the red and green curry pastes. There is a maximum of only eight people in this group because we want the class to be special and give you a chance to learn the cooking techniques with our supportive attention. It will be a small group but it will definitely be a delicious activity that's a lot of fun.

Saturday section 

• Tom Kha Gai (Coconut soup with chicken)
• Pad Thai
• Kaeng Khieo Wan (Green curry)
• Stir-fried chicken with cashew nuts
• Kluay Buad Chi (Banana in coconut milk)

Sunday section

• Tom Yum Goong (Hot and sour soup with shrimp)
• Pad Thai
• Massaman curry
• Pad Priew Wan (Sweet and sour stir-fried)
• Kluay Tod with Honey (Fried banana with honey)

Schedule

• 8:30 am: Pick up from your hotel or meeting point in Phuket Town
• 9:00 am: Arrive at Baan Nate Home Cooking
• 9:05 am: Get welcome drinks and relax as we get to know each other
• 9:15 am: Learn about Thai herbs and ingredients and the basics of Thai cooking
• 9:45 am: Class starts, you will learn dish by dish
• 12:00 pm: Lunchtime with the food that you cooked 
• 12:45 pm: Get recipe book, group photo, and time to say goodbye
