Quick and Easy: Express Greek Cooking Class

About

Learn to cook a quick Greek dinner in just an hour. The class is totally hands-on and all the recipes will be given to you in advance, so you can take notes during the class. 

To ensure all class participants learn the most important parts of the given menu, certain key techniques (like making dough for pies from scratch) will be performed by all class participants. 

By the end of the class, you will be able to recreate the full menu when they get back home. We hope you enjoy your immersion into traditional Greek culture.

The class can be taught in French and Spanish upon request (just let us know when you book). 

Menu

You will learn and cook all the dishes in the following menu. 

Appetizers

• Tzatziki (yogurt dip with cucumber, dill, and garlic)
• Tiropita (Greek cheese pie)
• Dakos (rusk with fresh tomato and fresh cheese)

Main course 

• Chicken or pork gyros (Greek dish made from meat cooked on a vertical rotisserie)

Dessert

• Greek cheesecake

Drinks & Beverages

• Red Wine
• White Wine
• Rosé Wine
• Digestif

Schedule

Afternoon class (Saturday, Sunday)

• 1:00 pm: Meeting at CookinAthens studios.
• 1:05 pm: Get to know your chef.
• 1:10 pm: Discuss the menu and the ingredients that will be used.
• 1:15 pm: Hand-on with the cooking class following the chef's instructions.
• 2:00 pm: Enjoy your dinner with friends and family.
• 3:00 pm: The end of the class.

Evening class (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday)

• 6:00 pm: Meeting at CookinAthens studios.
• 6:05 pm: Get to know your chef.
• 6:10 pm: Discuss the menu and the ingredients that will be used.
• 6:15 pm: Hand-on with the cooking class following the chef's instructions.
