Our cooking session kicks off at one of the oldest market in Naples: the Pignasecca. Here, we'll buy the necessary ingredients for the cooking class and browse through all the other wonderful foods that Campania offers us, from fresh fruit to seafood.
We'll then return to our house to start getting our hands dirty in the kitchen! We will teach you how to make a Neapolitan feast from scratch, including the super local crocchè (breaded mashed potato roll with mozzarella), a local variation of gnocchi, Naples-style “braciola” (a rolled pork chop stuffed with herbs cooked in tomato sauce), and a Caprese cake (almond and chocolate cake).
Once the cooking is done, we'll all sit together and enjoy your creations over a complimentary glass of Italian wine.
We love sharing our passion for Neapolitan cuisine and culture with travelers. To make sure you can recreate these dishes at home, we'll give you a recipe booklet to take home with you at the end of the class.
