Chef Sachiko Saeki will deliver this Sake Tasting Workshop at Kokoromi Standing Bar in Himeji, Japan. Conducted in English and lasting one and a half hours, participants will have the opportunity to taste 8 different types of locally produced quality sake some of which are only consumed locally.
Accompanying the tasting will be an introduction to sake's history, an explanation of the different categories, how it is consumed and its methods of production. There will also be opportunities for participants to ask questions and for discussion.
Against the backdrop of over 300 individual bottles of sake all produced by 58 local breweries in Hyogo prefecture, Kokoromi is the ideal place to experience this national beverage whilst learning from a Japanese chef with many years of professional experience in the food industry.
