Half-Day Thai Cooking Class and Market Tour

Learn how to cook flavorful and fun Thai recipes, including home-style classics and street food favorites. 

Before we begin cooking, we'll head to the local market to buy fresh ingredients for your selected dishes. 

Then we'll go to a private house, where we'll cook together in an open-air kitchen and you will have your very own cooking station. Our chef will provide simple instructions to guide you through each recipe, and tips to find Thai ingredients or substitutions back in your home country. 

At the end of the lesson, you will receive a recipe book so you can recreate these dishes back at home to impress family and friends. We want to make it easier than ever to bring authentic Thai flavors to your dining table!

Please note that all dishes can be adapted to be spicy or mild. We also welcome vegans and vegetarians.

Appetizer (choose 1)

• Papaya salad
• Fresh spring rolls

Soup (choose 1)

• Tom Saeb (Hot & Sour soup prawns)
• Tom yum (Hot & Spicy soup chicken)
• Tom Kha Kai (Chicken coconut soup)

Curry (choose 1)

• Khao soi
• Green curry
• Red curry
• Massaman curry

Dessert (choose 1)

• Deep-fried bananas
• Mango sticky rice

Schedule

• 8:30 am: Pick up from your hotel
• 9:00 am: Local market tour, where everyone gets to choose their own menu
• 9:20 am: Arrive at the private home for the cooking class
• 9:30 am: Try Thai snacks and seasonal fruits while drinking coffee, tea, and water.
• 9:40 am: Cooking stir-fried dishes
• 10:15 am: Start to prepare soup and appetizer
• 10:45 am: Tasting of food
• 11:45 am: Preparing dessert and making curry paste
• 12:40 pm: Tasting of food
• 1:30 pm: End of the class. Drop off everyone back to the hotel
