SPANISH OMELETTE

Discover the Valencian gastronomy and enjoy cooking this two typical and delicious dishes of our country, in a country house surrounded by orange trees.

We’ll start the day learning how to make a typical Spanish omelette o “tortilla española”, as we call it, a delicious dish full of secrets that the chef will tell you all about. In the final boiling minutes, you’ll tour the country house and the orange trees landscape.

VALENCIAN PAELLA

It’s time to start with the five-star dish: “The authentic Valencian paella”. Suring this Paella workshop you will learn, step by step, how to cook this outstanding dish, discovering all of its secrets, its history and the everything surrounding it.

In the process we’ll take a break to enjoy a snack and a drink of the best and most typical products of the Valencian vegetables’ gardens.

Everyone to the table! For sure the paella is awesome. Nothing suits it better than local wines and after that much eating, you’ll enjoy the best fruits from the season. Don’t forget to save some space for a home-made cake “La coca de llanda” that comes with a sweet wine called “Mistela”.

To finish the event, the chef will deliver your diplomas, that will accredit you as ambassador of the authentic valencian paella and spanish omelette.

Schedule

• 11:00 am: Pickup at meeting point.
• 11:30 am: Arrive to our country house "El huerto de Consuelín".
  • Introduction and drink is served.
  • Walk through the orange field.
• 12:15 pm: Cooking session 1. Spanish omelette.
• 1:10 pm: Break to taste typical tapas.
• 1:40 pm: Cooking session 2. Paella.
• 2:30 pm: The paella is ready to eat!
• 3:30 pm: We deliver the certificate of paella ambassador.
• 4:00 pm: We go back to the meeting point
