Cooking at the Farmhouse: 4-Course Seasonal Menu

At the farmhouse, you'll always be met and greeted with a nice locally produced glass of Falanghina or Aglianico wine and previously prepared appetizers. In a comfortable setting around a table, you'll learn about the importance of using seasonal products and the use of them in traditional Italian cooking. 

Following this appetizer-time, you'll enjoy a tour through the school's organic vegetable garden. Here, all ingredients will be handpicked directly from nature, including eggs from happy chickens. You'll discover how seasonal, organic products are grown, how to recognize them, and make a selection based on the recipes.

With the guidance of Mother Nature, you'll prepare a delicious 4-course menu following traditional family recipes and cooking techniques. 

After the hands-on cooking session, you'll enjoy your starter, pasta dish, main dish, and dessert with an unmissable glass of local wine (or a few).

It's a guarantee; that you'll leave the house with a big smile on your face. Additionally, you'll get a small surprise from the house to take with you.

Food:

• Starter: Bruschetta/ Stuffed pumpkins flowers/ Roosted vegetables/ Grilled cheese/ Zucchini ascapece.
• Pasta dish: Spaghetti with fresh tomatoes and mozzarella/ Spaghetti alla nerano / Pasta bolognese/ Paccheri con Baccala/ Pasta fagioli e cotiche/ Legume soups
• Main dish: Baccala with potatoes/ Baccala with tomatoes sauce/ Pork fillet/ Sasiccie e Friarielli/ Vegetables gratin/ Lemon-flavored chicken
• Dessert: Chiacchiere/ Homemade jam tart, Struffoli/ Apples crumble pie/ Chocolate sausage

Drinks: 

• Water

• 10:10 am: Welcome drink and finger food
• 10:15 am: Picking ingredients from the garden and henhouse
• 10:50 am: Start cooking class  
• 1:00 pm: Enjoy creation
• 1:30 pm: End of class

Afternoon session (available only on Saturdays):

• 4:00 pm: Arrival at school
• 4:10 pm: Welcome drink and finger food
• 4:15 pm: Picking ingredients from the garden and henhouse
• 4:50 pm: Start cooking class
• 7:00 pm: Enjoy creation  
• 7:30 pm: End of class
