Tra Que Water Wheel Cooking Class with Organic Herb Garden Visits

Water wheel’s staff meets you at your hotel lobby (Hoi An Area), then you will go bicycle to Hoi An’s colorful central market. Here you will have the opportunity to interact with the local sellers and learn about the ingredients you will use in the cooking lesson later. Make sure your camera is handy.

Continue to Tra Que Water Wheel, take a rest with a special welcome drink.

You will be taken around the herbs garden where local farmers work on their field using organic methods from 300 years ago.

Learn the traditional ways of preparing and cooking Vietnamese food. Made some flowers and animals by vegetables for decoration. After the lesson, enjoy what you have cooked.

*Foot massage is included for $5/person on request

Programm

Morning

• 8:15 am: Our staff will pick you up at your hotel
• 8:30 am: Cycle to Hoi An's colorful central market by bicycle and proceed on ingredient selection
• 9:00 am: Cycle through the rice fields, this is a great opportunity to breathe the fresh air of the countryside, and admire the farms of cows, ducks, buffaloes...
• 9:30 am: Take a rest with our welcome drink while enjoying the beautiful scenery of the tra que fields 
• 10:00 am: Starting with the cooking class: Learn the traditional ways of preparing vietnamese food and making flowers and animal vegetables decoration.
• You will be guided by the local chef, how to cook four unique traditional dishes at the Water Wheel Restaurant such as: 
  • Tam Huu (three friends) spring roll
  • Local pancake
  • Papaya salad
  • Braised fish in clay pot
  • -Steamed rice in banana leaves
  • (Finally, there is a fresh fruit dessert )
  • (Of course there are vegetarian options, just tell us about your wishes and allergies!)
• 1:00 pm: After a day full of experiences and learnings, return to the hotel

Afternoon
