Great experience where you can be able to see how Parmigiano is made from first phase to last one. We took a Tour with member of master's Parmigiano family.
Generously tasting portions and good prices in their shop. I can’t wait to take this cheese hole to my family!
The employed at the factory and at the tour were all very nice and ready tor receive tourists. The production is well-explained. In the tasting of cheeses and wines, they let us eat as much cheese as we wanted, and the 30 yo parmesan cheese was very good! The store that sells cheese there has an unbeatable price.
Nestled in the countryside of this town, amidst the tranquil Gazzano landscape, Agrizoo was established in 1972. What began as a modest farm has evolved over the years with a steadfast commitment to excellence. The journey mirrors the slow and deliberate process of cheese production, emphasizing quality above all else. Run as a family enterprise, the owners actively participate in daily life alongside their employees and suppliers, fostering a close-knit community.
The management made a monumental decision to transition to organic farming, ensuring the production of entirely authentic cheese exclusively within their own company grounds.
They established a closed-loop supply chain, sourcing every ingredient locally on the farm and meticulously overseeing every stage of production. This vision reflects the lore of this historic region—an idyllic village producing cheese and milk for both locals and visitors alike. Here, every worker is regarded as an essential figure, playing a pivotal role in the production process.
In 2010, the management came to realize that ensuring high product quality required not only meticulous attention to every stage of production but also a dedicated focus on environmental stewardship.
