Chef Horia was informative and had a great sense of humor. My daughter and I attended. This class of 6 was a perfect size. We enjoyed the other participants, learned, laughed, and ate great food! I highly recommend the class it was one of the funnest and most memorable adventures we had in Barcelona, don’t hesitate to book this !!!

This was a great cooking class. We all had a chance to participate in the preparation and cooking. We made Tortillas de Potato first which my daughter and I really wanted to learn how to make. We made a crème brûlée for desert and of course a paella. The chef was warm, charming and engaging. Made us feel right at home. The work area and apartment were also lovely. Would highly recommend.

The instructor Chef Heria was informative and made the whole experience casual. Everyone was relaxed and happy to prepare all the ingredients. I personally found each of the cooking tips and details about the dishes and ingredients very valuable to be a success next time I make the dishes. Although, I especially brought a notebook, the chef assured me that a detailed recipe would be send to me by email.

Horya was a wonderful host and teacher. Such a great sense of humor. We had such a fun time and learned to make some delicious Catalan dishes. Highly recommended.

Excellent, thank you Lucas and your friend for the wonderful cooking and Spanish food experience. Fun to visit the market, learn about the jambon and the food and market history of Spain. Very fun to share in the cooking experience in making paella.

This class was perfect for our group of four girls! We were with only one other group of a mom and daughter, so it was very intimate. We absolutely loved our instructor, Gretta - she was so fun and energetic! The Bocqueria tour helped us to learn a little of the history of the market and find the most local vendors. We enjoyed the yummy tapas and learning about different regions of Spain along the way. All three dishes were so authentic and turned out delicious. Loved every minute and would highly recommend!

We had a throughly enjoyable day with Greta. She was lively, funny, very informative and the whole experience was a joy. Our group were special and we enjoyed each others company immensely. Thanks for making the Cooking class experience so much more than just about the food!!

Amazing night spent with new friends. They say right from the beginning “we want you to feel at home.” Boy they did not disappoint. Alfredo, the chef was hilarious and enjoyable to work with. Even an experienced home chef will learn a few new things and a lot of new dishes to bring home! The tour of the Market was fun as well and we made sure to head there for lunch on one of our other days in Barcelona. Highly highly recommend doing this classic you will not be disappointed!

For anyone who enjoys cooking, eating, and learning about a new culture, this was a wonderful way to spend half a day on a first visit to Barcelona! From the information-filled tour of La Boqueria to the actual cooking lesson, our host was very engaging and knowledgeable. Even experienced cooks picked up a few new tips & techniques, as well as authentic new recipes (all provided via email after the class). With a full tapas meal prepared by our host and the classic dishes the class prepared, we ate delicious food and did not leave hungry (plenty of Spanish wines also accompanied the meal!) Well worth the price. Highly recommend!

Theresa was excellent. We walked the market and she selected the best venders for us. Then we went back to their location and had about 7 different appetizers that she made for us they were from all over Spain and she explained the history of the dishes as well. The cooking part of the class was enjoyable and we all helped a little bit.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our class with Theresa. The market tour was fun and she helped us pick out some jamón to bring home. The class itself was delightful. She was patient with us and offered great tips and techniques, which I will be using as soon as I get home. I would do this class all over again if offered. A wonderful experience.

What a great way to enjoy Barcelona! The market tour was really informative covering market history and how to choose ingredients. My group bonded well with each other and the chef. We all shared a love of food and wine. We all got hands on experience with the cooking which made the eating so much more enjoyable. A fantastic experience and with the recipes one I can relive!

My wife and I truly enjoyed the small-group setting for our tour and cooking class. Our host Janelle was personable, knowledgeable and a pleasure to get to know. She guided us around the market like a true pro and introduced us to vendors who gave us "behind the scenes" knowledge of the food and culture. The cooking portion of the class was easy and relaxed, with flowing wine and delicious recipes. We'd do it again for sure!

Our Paella Cooking Experience far exceeded all expectations we had for it! There were only 4 people in our group and it was totally HANDS ON! Janelle was an incredible teacher chef, She took the time to explain every step of everything we made, I was surprised that we actually made a few recipes. She took the time to explain all the ingredients used and letting us know that we can purchase some of these on AMAZON, which I already have! Plus the quick walk through the market was great to purchase the necessary spices to take home. Spanish Saffron is very expensive in the states so I brought home a stock of it. During our time at the school we tasted a large variety of Tap's and the delicious wine flowed freely! Not to mention our Paella, Spanish Omelet and Catalan Crème were all amazing! The day prior to our cooking experience we were invited to a friends home in Sabadell for a typical Paella Feast, I am happy to report that what we created at our experience was a very close replica of what we had at the locals home! I would highly recommend booking this cooking experience, its by far worth the cost! Kath Rex Seattle WA

Our host/tour guide/chef was incredibly thoughtful, engaging, and fun! She taught us about the culture, the food, and how to cook authentic Catalan food. I learned so much.

I love how the cooking class took us to the local market before staring. It taught me a lot. It gave me an opportunity to appreciate the life giving ingredients the organic, fresh and healthy. Everyone was so friendly and well experienced in the kitchen. I’m not a cook so the basic instructions really helped me. I made my own paella out from scratch and the combinations of ingredients were new to me yet I was surprised that I cooked a delicious and an interesting mix of flavors kind of meal! Thank you for the cooking experience! Would love to visit again soon!

We had so much fun! This class was educational, and super fun! Loved trying 10 kinds of Tapas and learning about the regions they come from, the history and they were delicious. I learned several new cooking tips! We made potato omelet which was sooo good, as well as seafood paella, delicious! Also Catalan creme... oh so good! We met new people and had a really good time! I would do over again! Plenty of wine throughout the day and every thing was top notch.... oh and the studio decor is so charming and has so much character! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

Theresa took my wife and I on a culinary tour of Spain and Catalan through Tapas and the Paella main course for which she guided our preparation. It was our 20th anniversary and could not have been a better day. Theresa, Gracies!

We really appreciated our Cheffe Janel And all the employees who received us, they were really nice and patient. The food was excellent and the recipes was quite easy to execute. Fantastic experience. Lots to eat and drink and we were never rushed. All the staff were exceptionally friendly.

Janel and Alfredo were great. They were really knowledgeable about Spain and all the foods of each region. We had a great time cooking them. I highly recommend going to their cooking class while in Barcelona!
